BioClin, B.V., Delft, The Netherlands was founded by Dr. Annelize Goedbloed in 1988. She combined 35 years of clinical research expertise with the aim of improving the quality of life for women that exhibit vaginal complaints.

Dr. Annelize Goedbloed has a distinguished career in clinical research and is now the director of Research and Development for BioClin bio-active/all natural products in Delft, The Netherlands. With the development and success of MultiGyn products and the clinical evaluations of their efficacy, she brought the suffering of women directly to the attention of Dr. Mathilde E. Boon, M.D., PhD.  Dr. Boon is the director of the Leiden Cytology and Pathology Laboratory, Leiden, The Netherlands.  The LCPL serves over 900 physicians in the Netherlands and is also involved in the Dutch government program of screening for cervical carcinoma. As a special interest, Dr. Boon has been studying the relationship between the vaginal flora and pathogens for many years.

Dr. Boon and Dr. Goedbloed have co-authored numerous technical articles on the vaginal ecosystem, bacterial vaginosis, vulvitis and the resolution for vaginitis related symptoms. Key Reference publications are:

Boon and Goedbloed established a non-profit women's assistance program in the Netherlands to specifically help women with vaginal intimate problems. Too often such intimate complaints are either under estimated, neglected or over-medicated.
